Picture yourself in a busy, hot and noisy street somewhere in South East Asia in the early to mid 20th century. There squats a man in the shade of a shop awning, bent over some pieces of solid wood where he is carefully hand carving elephants and palm trees. Fast forward to 2026 and here are his creations, lovingly brought back to life with some more hand made craft work.

Bases are hand painted in silver sage chalk paint, rewired in cream 3 core silk flex. New plugs and new brass lamp holders. Fully PAT tested.

1950’s lampshades recovered in GP&J Baker’s cream and red floral linen. Trimmed in red and gold fringing.

Equally at home either side of your bed as you enjoy the cosy ambience with a book, or placed effortlessly in your drawing room where they will provide a warm glow of the orient.
