An English tourist to Italy was inspired to buy a pair of marble, ceramic and toleware lamp stands in the late 20th century. They have since been reconditioned and repainted to work in a more pleasingly aesthetic manner.
The shade frames are new, and hand made, covered in gorgeous Garden velvet by GP &J Baker and finished with matching mauve tassel fringe and royal purple tassels.
